College courses require
a minimum of two hours of study outside of class for every
hour in class. A ten-credit course requires 20 hours a week
of study outside in addition to the 10 hours in the classroom
for a total of 30 hours per week
Lack of time due to
activities and responsibilities outside of school cannot be
considered as a mitigating factor in the grading process.
There are only 168 hours
in a week (24 X7) so carefully plan your study, work, and social
calendar .
If you have emergency
circumstances (sickness, family crisis) which prevent you from
performing at the level of achievement you expect of yourself
consult with the faculty --preferably in advance.
